IN ALL CASES THE SMALLEST SCALE CHARTS WERE USED (I.E. HARBOR AREAS WERE TAKEN FROM 1:40000 AND OFFSHORE AREAS FROM 1:80000 CHARTS). SCALE : 1: 80,000; 1:40,000 CREATOR OF SOURCE AGENCY/ORGANIZATION : Florida Marine Research Institute SOURCE CONTACT : ROBERT L. WARFORD SOURCE ADDRESS : 100 Eighth Avenue S.E. St. Petersburg, Florida 33701-5095 SOURCE PHONE NUMBER : 813/896-8626 GENERAL DESCRIPTION : This coverage contains bathymetric contour lines for the entire Florida coastline in 3- and 6-foot increments in shallow water and larger increments in deeper water. SDE STATEMENT : In March, 2000, the shapefile of this dataset was inserted into Spatial Database Engine (SDE 3.0.2). SDE is ESRI's client/server technology for storing and managing spatial data in a relational database management system (RDBMS) and for spatially enabling existing RDBMS tables. For most datasets, ARC/INFO specific fields, such as # and -id were dropped. In a few cases, existing field names were changed for clarity or given the suffix '_x' where conflicts occurred with Oracle, SQL, or SQLPlus reserved words.
