Dr. Charles Bostater, Laboratory Director
& Director of the Remote Sensing Center

Dr. Bostater (Chuck) originally developed the laboratories and Remote Sensing Center in 1991 at Florida Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Florida. He has been associated with the University in the College of Engineering. He is an avid scuba diver and holds an airplane multi-engine, instrument pilot rating, and type rating - with over 2500 hours of twin engine (Seneca II, Cessna 414) turbocharged high performance planes & MU300/BE400 Mitusubishi Diamond Jet & Beechjet aircraft.
